Bounce Back - Anyone there now?

Can anyone tell me if they are offering bounceback in the rooms now? If so how far out can you book for next year?

I heard their are 2 bounce backs..one is a room discount, good through the end of this year and the other is free dining till sept. 2012. I hope when I go down the end of this month their is a bounce back for room discount till 2012!

We are at OKW at the moment, the room discount is good until the end of the year, the FD is 8/19 - 9/27
I am calling tomorrow to ask about other resorts, but it says - ask about other lenghts of stay and resorts.

Just returned yesterday. We got the free discount for 8/2012. It was limited to WL, AKL, SSR, and OKW on ours.

We are at CSR now. There is a free dining offer for 8/19 to 9/27/12. It features the moderates with a QS dining plan, and AKL or WL with the regular dining plan. It says you can all for prices on other resorts. I'm underwhelmed.

I just returned and was able to book Movies with free quick service dining! I was in sticker shock however as the price was $3350 for the 4 of us for 2 weeks when we paid $2900 this year for the identical vacation, with the exception that we were in POP. (Both include an upgrade to the regular dining plan.) That is a 15% increase!!!

Just returned from AK Kidani Village yesterday and no bounceback offer I even called the # and the agent told me to ask the front desk before I checked out...did that and she said they discontinued that offer that week.

Just back Saturday from Pop. Was offered the free counter service dining plan starting on August 17, 2012. (through end of Sept but not sure of the date, haven't unpacked the paperwork suitcase yet! Lol!) Page was in our room a few days into our vacation.

Ours went up quite a bit when I get a quote online too....I figured it was because 2 of my 'children' were turning 9 and I thought that meant they were Disney adults but that's not until 10.....soooo, I guess it's just an increase. There are 7 of us though, so it was quite a bit more for the same days, same rooms, same tickets and same dining plan.

My friend is there now. She did not get a bounce back offer this time, even called to make sure. One month ago when she was there she did. When she talked to the CM she asked about GP room discounts and heard what we've all been hearing "next week or so".

I think that the CM confusion might be that the room discount BB (that had dates through the end of the year) has expired, and only the FD BB is being offered now.

Brenda1966 if your friend is still there and you can reach her, have her call from her room and ask about the FD BB (code "WDW" on BB flyer) instead of a room discount BB, like on this copy of the FD BB flyer as posted by DISer jgraney106:

It runs from 8/17 thru 9/27/2012. Quick service for values and regular dining for the moderates. Be on the look out for this in your room.
Looks like maybe general public will maybe eventually get this . Lets hope!
The lady at the reservations said it was first placed in the rooms on 8/8/2011.

Thanks, but we are just looking for room only, no dining option is desired. Disney seems to be holding tightly to any room only discounts this fall.

I was able to book the FD promo a couple of days ago.

We booked 14 nights.

Package breakdown
8/18 to 9/2

2 adults 2 disney kids
POP standard room for 14 nights
10 MYW with water park fun and more
Free QSDP
total 2961.38

The 5.00 more a night that pop charges adds up after 14 nights that alone was a 70.00 price increase. I'm still happy with that price. After just getting back and seeing the total on some of our CS meals most of the time for the 4 of us it was around 40.00 or more. Alot of times that was out the desert. I will miss having the extra snack credit next year. We used them for breakfest for the girls. But we did have left over CS meal credits and snack credits.

We actually received 2 Bounceback offers while we were there at POR last week. We got one for % off room rate or for Free Dining. We make out better with FD so we booked with that. We didn't save the flyer sorry.
