Hi All, I'd love to stay in a 1 bedroom villa this coming summer. Besides location, can you tell me what the difference is between boulder ridge and copper creek 1 bedrooms? Were the boulder ridge rooms refurbished when they did the copper creek rooms? Thanks so much!

A 1BR at Copper Creek is hard limit 4. If booked on cash, a 1BR at Boulder Ridge also only sleeps 4, but on DVC points can sleep 5.

BRV was refurbished a few years ago.

A CCV 1BR villa is ~680 square feet. A BRV 1BR villa is ~727 Square feet.

Copper Creek was done by converting the original WL rooms in to DVC rooms where as Boulder Ridge is original DVC construction. That always seems to make the converted rooms odd somehow. We have stayed in a Copper Creek room and liked it quite a lot. We just stayed in a studio though

I stayed in a CCV 2-bedroom lock-off (1-bedroom + studio). It was basically 3 hotel rooms that had been combined and converted. The arrangement between the living area and the master bedroom is very cut up and, IMO awkward. The master bathroom is impressive with an overhead rain shower head. The living area is narrow with a galley kitchen. The dining table is a little tight with pendulum lamps that we were constantly knocking our heads against when rising from the seats. In all, the living area reminded me of a lot of travel trailers I've seen...efficient use of all space but a very cramped feeling.

Seems as though many of the similar complaints folks have about AKL - Jambo house DVC, right? For same reasons, converted to DVC from regular hotel rooms. Awkward is the word I see often to describe the rooms
