Somehow in all our trips I have never been to Boulangerie Patisserie. We have been to France in EPCOT of course, and bought a treat (repackaged) but never gone in. I have no idea why, I love a good bakery. This coming trip is my time!!! :cool1: Anyway, I love a good Napolean, and I hear this is good here, as have I heard that about the ham and cheese croissant, but with 100 snack credits this trip, I want to use some up here. So, was wondering what people liked here, even if just a thumbs up or down (and you can comment on everything, we have 100 CS credits to enjoy too.) Thanks!

We've tried everything above and it has all been delicious!! I would go there all the time if I could. The Napoleon is huge and could be shared even. I believe you can get the french baguette bread (basically french bread pizza) either just cheese or with ham. You can't go wrong with any of the choices.

Everything is divine! The raspberry schuss is my favorite, or a good old classic chocolate croissant. I wish they had a bigger seating area, there's always a line, it's very tight inside, and there is very limited seating outdoors. But that never stops me from going back!

The Menu---
Chocolate Chip Cookie $2.25 - they'll warm it up for you - really good
Elephant Ears $2.95 - not like a traditional midwest fair elephant ear
Marvelous $3.90 - ehhh
Pralineige $3.65 - ehhh
Napoleon $3.70 - good stuff
Ham and Cheese Croissant $3.25 - delicious, have it wamed up

They also have a "cake of the day" that has been a really rich chocolate cake every time I've been in there. It's good for a chocolate lover.

I LOVE the Strawberry tart. It's a must do whenever I go. The fruit is always so fresh and tasty, no matter what time I'm there. My hubby likes anything chocolate from there. We've also made a meal of the ham and cheese croissants with a dessert. They'll heat up the croissant for you.

Thanks everyone. Usually our last day is at the MK and we hit the bakery for some treats to take home. This year DD15 has a good friend coming down and their trip overlaps us by one day, so the girls have one day to go to a park together and they wanted to do EPCOT so our last day is there this year. I thought this would be a great place to get the treats instead of MSB. Sounds like from what you all are saying that is right. So with all the snack credits I can say "I'll have one of each" and mean it! :confused3 :rotfl:

ham and chesse croissant- our favorite hands down. as a matter of fact i just cancelled an Adr at tokyo dining because we would rather eat these.

OMG this place is to die for!! DH and I had lunch here in the summer and got the turkey baguette and the ham/cheese crossaint, followed by the apple turnover and chocolate mousse. Just out of this world.

BTW if you go to the very back of France after you come out of the bakery and to your left, there is an indoor seating area that has a few tables and is air conditioned.

since you mentioned going to a bakery, you also at some point may want to head to the boardwalk bakery. If you like peanut butter and chocolate try the peanut butter cake. It is SOOO good. Although, its not a snack option (price is higher) but its so worth it.

Every trip we say we are going to go walk along the Boardwalk and we never make it, but I am going to make an effort to do so this trip since we are going to be there a day longer. Thanks for the suggestion.

I believe you can get the french baguette bread (basically french bread pizza) either just cheese or with ham. You can't go wrong with any of the choices.

The Baguette by itself is not a flatbread-type pizza (although they do sometimes offer that and it's not on OP's menu above). The baguette, ordered alone, is just a long lovely crusty french bread stick. If you don't want sweets it makes an awesome breakfast bread for the next day.

Transport might be an issue, OP, for taking snacks home. The bread is wonderful fresh but will get state quickly. Bring ziplock baggies. Big ones. Also, several of the desserts (such as the Napoleon, which I can certify is WONDERFUL) would need to be refrigerated if you are not going to eat them within an hour or so of purchase. Are you driving? Bring a cooler and fill it with ice once you leave the parks, then set the plastic-wrapped goodies on top of the ice. Unless they give you the to-go goodies in plastic clamshells, bring tupperware too. You'll need to stack goodies in the cooler and you don't want to crush the pastries or smush the icing.

Yes, we drive. We always have a cooler that we use our extra CS meals for. We go on our last day and set salad and sandwiches and even the rosemary schicken at WPE with our extra credits so on the long drive home we don't have to stop mcuh. I would probably stick more with the things taht are more sturdy to take home though, like at MSB we'd take turnovers and connamon rolls. I was only kidding about the one of each comment, though it would be fun to say. :rotfl: We will take more what looks good to us and what we can keep a bit. We do also take gladware type containers, but not into the parks. I guess I was picturing things in the clamshells and not just on a plate, but maybe that was an assumption and may not happen. If the napolean is as good as I hear there won't be any left to worry about anyway. I haven't had a good one since I moved here. They have some great bakeries but so far not a good Napolean. :confused3
Thanks for all the tips, I am NOT going to pass this place up again!

The Napoleon is huge and very sweet. It's definitely big enough to share.

I really like the cheese plate from here for a shared lunch/snack. It comes with one of the baguettes discussed above, three kinds of cheese, and a little fruit.

They also have great strawberry smoothies. You might need one for the long, hot walk to the front gate:goodvibes.

The Menu---

Croissant Plain $1.95- Good
Croissant Chocolate $2.85- very good

Another vote for the cheese plate! I always get that, love it with the bread.

We love it there. If you are taking food out, they have boxes for to go items. In fact, they have various sizes of boxes.

Croissant Chocolate $2.85- delicious
Chocolate Mousse $3.35 a must do item every trip
Cream Puff $2.95- DH ordered this but the girl behind the counter told him to get the horn thing filled with cream instead because it was much better tasting. He like the horn thing very much
Ham and Cheese Quiche $4.95- so-so, but I make very good quiche so I might have been a little biased

they have a long stip of pastry with choc. chips on it that is very good also

They have had choc cake which is good but I don't remember whether or not they always have it
