Bought Tevas today!

Those look very comfy! I'm headed out shopping tomorrow, and will have to stop by Dick's to see if they have any. I bought my current pair Teva's at Dick's and love them!! I'm in need of a new pair, and those look very cute.

Thanks for posting!

So I searched far and wide and ended up driving 25 miles to REI to get my Teva mush flip flops. I called every Dick's and Sports Authority in the area and none of them had them so I found the REI. Here's a picture. I really hope the thing between my toes doesn't irritate me cuz I'll be quite upset!

Ok, after reading everyone else's glowing reviews I just went to Teva's website and bought a pair of Mush's. I did see they have a new style "Mush Too" out for the season but I went with the orginals. Even if I don't wind up wearing them at Disney I will get to wear them all summer!

Thanks again!

Missie :thumbsup2

I ordered a pair of Mush Too and received them a couple days ago. I thought I would wear them around the house to check them out. Normally I NEVER wear shoes in the house - it gives me the heebie-jeebies. Anyway, I wor them for hours and kept forgetting I had them on! They were like being barefoot but with better cushioning. They are a winner so far for me!

The shoes pictured in that link are not Teva Mush. They are Olowahus. I have both and seldom wear the Olowahus, because if my feet swell (which they do at WDW) I can't wear them. The Teva Mush have just two wide straps that come over the foot and have much better arch support. Hopefully, you just inadvertedly inserted the wrong picture? If not, I'm afraid you may be disappointed in your shoes. I have several pair of Teva Mush, a pair of Teva Olowahu, several pair of Teva Ulani (have two thin straps over the feet), and Teva Pretty Rugged leather sandals. The ones I usually wind up in for most of my WDW trips are the Teva Mush with the two wide straps. My Teva Olowahus are cute, but they are definitely the least comfortable of all my Tevas.

I have the Teva Olawahus also, and absolutely LOVE them. The fabric strap does not hurt my toes at all, and I hadn't worn flip flops in years before I got these. I have broken them in by wearing them everywhere I go that requires much walking and they are great. They stay on my feet MUCH better than the Mush type do, and that is one of the things I love. I wore them to our local Earth Day celebration today, and even did some jitterbugging and cajun dancing in them. :dance3: So it really depends on your feet. Everyone's are different, and even though a lot of people swear by the Teva Mush, these are better for me. I'm posting below a picture of the shoes I'm taking to Disney, all well broken in of course. (The ones on the right are Tevas Ventura cork.)

I went yesterday and bought a pair of Teva Mush sandals. I wore them all day and by the end of the day, I had huge red marks between my toes and one blister :confused3 darn it, I really wanted to love these things. When I first put them on, they were very comfortable, Mushy :goodvibes feeling. I must just have tender skin by my toes.

Unfortunately, I'm in the same boat as you. I am extremely upset. Thankfully, they were only $20. I wonder if there's anything i can put between my toes so it doesn't rub so much?

How about wrapping a piece of mole skin around the toe piece of the shoe? I had to do this with another pair of flip flops I had (not Tevas) and it worked well.

I really really wanted to love these things too. I ordered the teva too mush flip flops online. The footbed is great, but the thong between the toes is a bit uncomfortable, I feel 'bruised'. It's not unbearable and I figured I'd get used to it. Then came the true test, after a week of wearing them around the house, I wore them outside for a short walk. I was limping by the time I got back. The straps over the top of my feet rubbed the skin off. :( Breaks my heart since these weren't cheap once the shipping and exchange were factored in.

Now that's not a bad idea...Do you know if I can get moleskin at Target? I plan to go there today during my lunch hour.

I bought Tevas and yeterday for my whole family and they are boxed up ready to be returned today because the rubbed our feet and made them uncomfortable already. :sad1: I really wanted to like them because I heard so much about them, but if they rub now imagine how bad it will be 10 days into WDW.

No shoe is the same for each person.

I have Teva Mush too and brought them on vacation to switch with my other sandals or for the pool. Well, I only wore them to the pool or in the evening, and one night wore them to walk to Beach Club for dinner at Beaches and Cream and I could feel a hot spot on my baby toes. Strange, huh?

So even though they seem so comfy, be careful. I now only use them for pool wear.

I, however, LOVE my Teva Pretty Rugged sandals and can wear them all day, everyday at WDW with no blisters. :goodvibes

I have several pairs of the Mush and the Olawahu Teva's. I just put on a new pair of the Olawahu's yesterday. They do take a little time for me to break them in...the straps can rub and cause some hot spots, but after I have worn them several times, they are just great. I actually like them better than the Mush style becasue the straps help to keep them on my feet better. I usually never have a problem with the toe thing and I can hardly ever wear any type of flip flop, especially those $2 Old Navy kind.

The thing I have found that really helps for lots of walking is Body Glide. When I wear the Tevas at Disney, I liberally apply the body glide all over my feet, the bottoms, under the straps, between my toes. Walked all over the place in Feb and never had a problem with these shoes.

I live in and LOVE my Teva Mush flip flops. I can't wear the Olowahu flips either...mostly b/c I have short little WIDE feet, so the Mush work better.

I'm not sure why people are returning their flip flops after wearing them for one day?! Unless you've been wearing flips all winter, you need to give your feet some time to get used to wearing them. After Uggs and boots and socks all winter, your feet aren't going to be immediately comfy in flip flops. Give yourself a week...walk around in them for an hour or two a day. By the time you get to your disney trip, not only will your feet be used to the flip flops, you'll have broken in your Teva Mush to the point of total comfort! I would hate for people to miss out on the squishy fabulousness of the Teva Mush!! One of the best things about them is that there isn't a "toe post"...it's a piece of fabric, which is much kinder to your feet than plastic posts (athens crocs anyone? OUCH!) but anything between your toes for the first time in months is going to take some getting used to.

I'm actually a birkenstock person for the most part...but the frequent soaking rain showers in Florida can RUIN birks footbeds...but the rain is the reason I was introduced to Teva Mush, my FAVORITE flip flop of all time! Don't miss out...really. Give them a chance!!! They are worth it!!:cool1:

I LIVE in my Teva Pretty Rugged Leather Sandals! They're nice enough to wear out to dinner, and I can power walk in them too! I prefer them to sneaks since it's so hot. You can't beat the comfort.
