Bought something new this past week!

OK...it's not a camera. Or a lens. Or a camera accessory. And it's not a Disney thing. My latest purchase is....wait for it....

A NEW CAR!

Considering I'm using my camera to take photos of it, and that it will be the thing that conveys me to Disney World several times a year, I figured it would be OK to share it on the Disney Photography board.

It's a 2013 model, just off the truck, and newly redesigned this year. Volkswagen CC, specifically the VR6 4motion model. I had been driving a 2007 VR6 4motion wagon, so I really wanted to keep the engine and all-wheel-drive guts, but moved to a lower slung design without the wagon utility this time.

With the day off work today, I brought the DSLR with me and cruised around town to snap some photos of the new car:

Thanks all. I have to say if I were to develop a short list of top interests, cars would be right there with Photography, Disney, and travel! I've always been a gear-head, and was on car forums before photography or Disney forums. Now I get to enjoy taking photos of the car - and next month I'll give it its first road trip to Disney!
