bought ribbon, how do I get it so stick??

I am on a mission to try and start scrabooking next week I just bought some ribbon I would like to use but I have no idea how to get it to stick to the paper What do you all use??? I need something easy, I am not that talented when it comes to art projects. My mom started laughing at me when I told her it was my goal to start scrapbooking. She proceeded to remind me I nearly failed art back in grade,middle and high school.

Hopefully I will get the hang of this. I am not planning on doing too much more than stickers, and ribbon. I hope that will look good. I'll let you all know how it work out..

I posted on your other thread, but GLUE DOTS! They are awesome.

Or wrap it around the page and use tape.

Or use a scrapbook tape roller.

Or eyelets, if you have a setter. You can do an eyelet hole and thread the ribbon through it and tape on the other side.

Or, just use GLUE DOTS.

I used scrappy glue by Magic Scraps. Seemed to work well for me.

I just use my tape roller. Works great so far.

If its not a real long strip I run it through my mini xyron.

I just started scrapbooking too and of course I had to use ribbon.
I used the dots. They are very sticky. They stick to your fingers nicely too.

Thanks for all your advice, I think I am gonna start with the dots. Hopefully I won't stick all my fingers together. I'll let you know how I make out.

Glue Dots also makes glue lines. They are available in continous or 1 in strips. They come on a roll just like the other glue dots. They are stretchy, too, so a 1 in strip can really be stretched out to a 2.5-3 in strip and still sticks well. I use these and love them, seems to make my other mini dots go further.

Can you tell I love glue dots?!
My DD5 loves to use ribbons in her scrapbooks so I get glue dots just for her. No mess and sooooo easy to use.
