So the girlfriend and I just booked a last minute trip to wdw for xmas, we leave next week. We found expedia.ca had a great deal on passes 5 days for price of 7. I bought them with the date set Dec 17 thinking that this would be the earliest I could receive the vouchers and then try and link some how for fastpass+. after buying them however they say they're only valid dec17-dec23 :scared: we are there dec23 -27. I called expedia to try and determine if these are the dates that I am able to redeem these vouchers to get my passes or if they are the dates that I have to use these passes, they werent the most confident in their answers. I have never seen any disney passes that were date stamped saying you have to use between these dates. I've only ever seen they're good for 14 days after initial use. Has anyone ever bought passes from expedia ? Does anyone know if they have to be used in those days? Or just redeemed from guest relations in those days?

I have seen date restrictions when buying heavily discounted tickets through a 3rd party. I have also seen date restrictions when booking a package at a discounted convention rate.

You said you went to "expedia.ca"......................the extension .ca? When I access expedia, its with the .com extension. They could be partially used aleady. You may want to contact Disney to verify.

Doug :goofy:

That is because OP is in Canada. The vouchers are absolutely legit. He bought through the Expedia site in Canada.

I cannot answer his date questions, but there is no reason to freak out about. Expedia.ca. It's the Canadian site, for Canadians,

Since this is about park tickets, I'm going to move it over to the Theme Parks board, in the hope that one of the ticket pros over there has the answer for the OP. :)

I'm pretty sure it's going to be fine.

Next time, check Undercover Tourist or Maple Leaf Tickets - you could have saved more and gotten better customer service. Also they give you actual tickets, not vouchers.

I've ordered from undercover tourist all the other times I've gone and am regretting not this time for only an $80 dollar savings. I've tried talking with expedia and they are useless and stubborn. They just tell you no and don't try listening to your explanations. Ive talked to disney and if they aren't telling me I have to talk to expedia they're telling me that passes expire 14 days after first use. Which is what my understanding is. Expedia tells me though that our 'valid' dates are the dates that we can use the passes. After that theyre expired. It's totally conflicting reports. I was hoping someone on here had perhaps ordered the same vouchers before

The posted "dates" on Expedia don't mean anything regarding tickets.

Did a search regarding Expedia and theme park tickets, and this thread popped up. I'm also wondering about the dates because I just purchased 4 day park hoppers for DL and my email came up with April 16-19 and a note saying they had to be used strictly on those dates. I called Expedia twice to be told that the tickets needed to be used by the 19th even though I input April 16-23 as my travel dates. Did your situation work out?

Like most situations, there is a better than 75% chance that the people you get ON THE PHONE don't know anything about anything, but they are inclined to make up answers just to get rid of you.
Disney park tickets are not specific to short periods with start and end dates.

I believe it as both reps had to go ask a supervisor, though the second one offered to refund me and book my tickets for me and make sure I put the right dates so she was somewhat helpful.

You'll be fine. You just have to go to the ticket counter to get your actual tickets which will not have any dates on them. (Just the usual must use within 14 days fine print)

So weird..I've never heard of Disney requiring tickets be used on specific dates. I honestly think you'll be fine. If nothing else, I'd bet dollars to donuts you could work with Disney when you got there to assure you can use them during your stay.

Good luck!

Thanks, I decided to go through aRes as it was a better deal even with the exchange. The day we get there is not a park day so I can exchange the vouchers then.
