All through my childhood I wanted one of those flocked trees. I guess living in the deep South we didn't get our quotient of snow, so I thought they were the most beautiful things in the world. No way could my family afford one--we just went off into the brush and sawed down a long-needle pine. 
Today I saw a white tree(not flocked) with sparkly branches at Garden Ridge on sale for $112~and DH bought it for me 
I'm so thrilled. Even if we only use it a few seasons I will so enjoy having this tree.
