Bought at the Disney Store - Flawed?

So today I made a trip to the Disney Store (and the Disney Outlet) and picked up several packs of pins. I brought them home and was looking at them before putting them in my collection box, when I noticed that on one of the sets I'd gotten (the villain shoe set) my Queen of Hearts pin has a dip in the toe of the shoe, and my Ursula pin has [faint] brush strokes. This is one set that I got at the store itself, not the outlet, and I'm very confused as to why these are flawed, almost as though they are scrappers (all the other shoes as well as the other two sets I bought at the store are just fine and show no signs of anything wrong with them).
The packaging had been untampered and everything, including the back card, were virtually flawless, as well as the stamp on the card matching that on each shoe, but these shoes... idk they baffle me, I guess.
Thoughts?

Been happening a lot with Disney store quality lately. I ordered $200 worth of things for our upcoming trip. My DD's Bathing suit was sewn crooked, like not just a little, I mean one leg sewn at angle the other straight across. My DH had a tee shirt that looked like the bottom folded as they were sewing across the bottom. Just not sure how nobody noticed either of these. Back in December I ordered and had missing items and a nightgown that the entire hem unraveled in the wash before it was even worn.

I suppose it's always possible that someone returned a scrapper set to the store, but more likely, you just got a bad one. Given the volume of pins produced, it wouldn't surprise me to find out that some in every batch have defects. If you're heading back to the store in the near future, you could try exchanging it for one that doesn't have a chip.

The next time I could possibly be in the area is in October when I head down for my trip to MK, so it'd be a little late by then. I've examined the pins and the flaws listed above are the only ones--it's always possible that this is a returned scrapper pack, which is why it's a good thing I picked this set up to collect, not trade, cause then I'd be really disappointed!
