Bought a Nikon D5100 form B&H

Ok so I upgraded from a Nikon D5000 to a Nikon D5100. I just couldn't bring myself to spend more for the D7000.
Does anyone have the D5100 if so what are your likes/dislikes.
I plan to take this on our upcoming trip....took the D5000 on our trip last year and the pictures came out crisp and clean...except for the close up of the food in Le Cellier.

I purchased a D5100 after I sold my T2i and can't be much happier. I also use the swivel screen for real low shots and some video. In some situations it makes it easier than crawling on the ground.

I am not sure that upgrade is going to do much more for you at Le Cellier. What lenses do you have? Maybe a lens upgrade is also needed.

I have a Sigma 30mm f/1.4 EX DC HSM Lens. Looking for a good telephoto one now....yes I'm reading Tom's thread to get ideas. As for my budget..well the new lens or lenses will be bought AFTER my Disney trip, possibly for a Christmas present to myself.

Don't always think buy when it comes to a new lens. There are plenty of web sites that rent lenses. Aside from saving you the expense of buying a lens it allows you to try before you buy. Rates can vary so shop around.

Just picked mine up yesterday and I love it. Can't wait to take it to disney in Feb.
