Well hopefully things come out ok.

I had a reg checkup a few years ago, but they forgot to tell me not to eat the night before. It was also on Monday, so of course Sunday I have a huge meal...then get the blood work back ..and it says my blood sugar is bad, that I have Type1? Which ever one is controlled by diet. Well when I talked to the doc about having that meal, they told me to get retested, I did, and this time it was normal, but because of that, I started controling my eating (well a little) but I have lost about 50lbs since then.

I wasn't told to not eat the night before. But the last thing I had was over 12 hours ago which is the instructions on the bottle.

I HATED that test. I don't remember not being able to eat though. With the twins the dr had a different drink to take, at the dr's office, about a small dixie cup full, it was SO much easier.

I had the shakes and boy was I HYPER after drinking that lovely bottle with DS14 though.

Blech, that brings back a bad taste. With my 1st pg, I had to sit in the drs office to drink the stuff. It took me forever and it was warm. Babies #2 & #3 were with a different doc who sent the bottle home with me and recommended putting in the fridge. Definitely helped...

Gross. I hated my GTT drink. It reminded me of super syrupy Crush soda. Good luck!
