How much does a bottle of water cost?

What brand of bottled water does Disney sell?

What size (in ounces) of bottled water do they sell?

Thanks!

They sell Dasini and in June they were selling SmartWater. The 20oz dasani were $2.00 each. The SmartWater was $3.25 and was bigger in size then the dasani but I can't remember the exact size.

Also, at most of the sit down restaurants you can ask for still or sparkling water. It was really good after a long hot day in the park. I think it was $6.50 for a large bottle.

You can get free ice water at CS restaurants too, which is cheaper and the same thing as Dasani!

I've gotten the free ice water at the Magic Kingdom and it tasted terrible!!! I'll probably bring some Crystal Light this time to make it taste better. I'm just trying to explore other options.

Does the free ice water at the other parks taste like Dasani (or at least better than the MK ice water)?

To me, the CS free ice water tastes horrible at all the parks and resorts. We budget for bottled water at the parks and bring our own bottled water for our room.

I have heard of people buying a case of water and shipping it to their resort. How much does shipping usually run for that? It may be cheaper in the long run.

Haha I grew up drinking well water, so to me the free CS water is a step up! It definitely has a taste to it, but if you're there on a very hot day and are very thirsty, an ice cold cup of even their water tastes wonderful.

They also sell 12 oz bottles of Dansani for $1.25.

I don't know about SmartWater but Dansani, like everything else at Disney World, is a Coke product.

I personally think Dasani is disgusting! I would cringe anytime I had to drink it at Disney (when I ran out of my water and needed water before I passed out from heat LOL). Anyways, I was sooooo glad to see SmartWater. SmartWater and Fiji are the only brands of water that I actually like.

You can have water shipped for free I heard, from Staples to your room. I am doing that and bringing a small cooler (but I will have a stroller to put it in.)

We went through gardengrocer.com and had three cases of water shipped to our room. I think the water was about $18 for 36 sport bottles, well worth it compared to $2/bottle at WDW, even with the added shipping price. We also had a few other groceries sent along (we were in a studio at BCV) to help "justify" the shipping cost.

I cannot stand Florida tap water - it tastes like sulpher to me (not that I regularly snack on sulpher!) for DW and I, shipping the bottled water and having bottled water poured at TS dinners is a "luxury" worth having - I tried going on the tap water our second day at the Fountain and I ended up regretting it!

As much as I love Coke products, I don't like Dasani. Go figure, I can only drink Aquafina which is made by Pepsi (shhh don't tell Coke :lmao: )

I'll have a rental car so I plan to go to the store to get some Aquafina. But I wanted to budget money for water in case we ran out while we are in the park.

People usually use GardenGrocer. Prices are pretty much the same as any supermarket. Shipping is $12 or free for orders over $200. You can pick up your groceries from bell service when they come. It's definitely worth. ::yes::

Funny. Everybody says I'm crazy when I say I can't stand Dasani & that Aquafina is great. (I am crazy but that's not why!)

That free CS water is the best. I have never noticed a taste, only that it is cold & wet. If you have time to taste it, you are not hot enough. Saves me at least $20 a day.

I think DASANI is advertised as filtered water, which is much different than spring water. As far as the taste of Florida water, I do know people who do not notice a difference, but I think it is bad tasting and changes the flavor of iced tea and coffee too. I will even ask for soda with minimal ice as I think it can overpower soda flavor too. Maybe I am just crazy.....well, that is a given, but maybe I am just obsessed with the awful Florida tap water!

Both Dasani and Aquafina are re-filtered water from "public sources". I don't like either of them, and I actually do drink tap water from time to time and would prefer it over both of those waters.

I thought I remember Zephyrhills brand being sold at Disney the last time I went (2004), but maybe I am thinking of Busch Gardens or Universal.

I think we had Zephyrhills when we got the water delivered from gardengrocer. I believe the choices were that or Poland Spring and we decided to go with the one that was bottled closer (no clue why - it didn't matter at all)
