Bottled water at Poly concierge level

Has anyone stayed at Poly concierge lately? At AKL they had bottles of water as well as soft drinks to take with you, but I heard lately the water is in some glass bottle or something at Poly. I'd love to hear if this is true - and what to do? We could just make a quick grocery stop and pick up some as I understand there's a fridge in the room, but that sort of defeats the purpose of the convenience of the concierge lounge. Thanks!

At AKL last week I heard someone told the water had to be poured from bottles sitting out. May be a new way to save money.

Hi Beth, we stayed at Poly concierge last weekend. There were already opened large glass bottles of water sitting out, but when we asked we were given the same glass bottles to take back to our room. The are mineral water and taste great, especially compared to WDW water! We used it in the room and filled our plastic water bottles with what was left.

The Polynesian was finding multiple unopened water bottles stashed in rooms after people checked out that they had to throw out so the policy changed to not offer the plastic bottles of water but have the larger glass ones out to pour from or request a bottle.

Maybe we'll stop and get some plastic bottles of water - a case or so - to take to the parks. It's easy to just toss them out then. Thanks for the info! I don't blame disney for doing this - there's so much waste already on a concierge level. It's nice they put fridges in the rooms now!
