I was at Epcot on Monday. We bought a bottled Lemonade at the stand outside of the Living Seas. It was $2.25 instead of the usual $2. Then we looked at the stand closest to the Journey to Imagination, and sure enough there was a $2.25 on the sign. Our next stop was Club Cool, where we noticed their sign still says $2. I realize that even the $2.25 is still less than the $2.50 they were a few years ago. However, I found it very amuzing that the price varied from cart to cart. In all my years, I've never seen this. Usually a price increase is standard throughout the whole park.

That happens often in WDW. I noticed one time that Turkey legs were cheaper in Animal Kingdom than in Epcot. I guess that AK is closer to the Emu's! :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Maybe they are trying to ecourage people to buy drinks rather than going in and get all the free samples in their refillable mugs. :teeth:

there is nothing more refreshing than a mug full of Beverly

Used to be $2.50 if I remember right, so when it went to $2 i was pleased, I suppose like most things prices will go up and wellas down.

Yes, the price increased a few months ago. If I recall, the price for the 21 oz soda is 2.09. Which interestingly is the same price that the same price was at DLR a few yrs ago, am sure it has increased at DL since then. The 21 oz soda was les expensive at WDW than Disnelyland. Also WDW offers two sizes for sodas, where DLR offers just the 21 oz. If anyone cares :)

I was there in July and surprised to see that the price for the large bottle of water was only $2. I figured that they were encouraging hydration in the hot weather and it would not surprise me to see the price go up when the temps go down. :sunny:

Your a captive audience - no matter what, people will pay.

Six Flags is over $3.00 for soda - be thankful that WDW is less than other parks.

Yes, but Six Flags sells refillable cups, that only cost .99 to refill! The only good thing I can say about Six Flags though!

I guess the point I was trying to make was that I was suprised that with in Epcot the prices of bottled soda, water, lemonade, etc. varied from cart to cart. Usually with in a park the prices are consistent. (And yes, as I stated above, I do realize this is only a 25 cents difference and that it is still down from the $2.50 of a few years ago.)

Well, get used to it. Prices have been increasing for just about everything, since the first purchase I made in my life.

Yes, I noticed the price of a hot dog costs more in Toontown from a vendor cart than from caseys on Main St.

There's no competition in Toontown, but is on Main Street USA. :)
