Bottle strap for Pal Mickey or lanyard??

I read the thread about some poor little boy's PM that got stolen Poor guy! But in the thread people mentioned attaching PM to bottle straps or lanyards. Where do you get the bottlestraps? How much are they? Would a lanyard work as well? Are there any discounts on PM? Thanks so much .

I have about 20 souvenir drink / bottle straps. I take PM with me almost every day to WDW. It really doesn't look like he is being hung because it goes under his neck.

Somebody stopped me today because they thought he WAS a lanyard. hahahah

Bottle straps cost about $3.00 and cinch right up tight around his neck. I wear a pin trading lanyard and I just can't imagine how a lanyard would secure mickey to you as there is no slide on a lanyard to tighten him down.
