Botox- Juvederm - Anyone Had It?

I just scheduled an appointment for a consultation with a local plastic surgeon to see how much this would cost:

Botox was never something that I was particularly interested in, but Juvederm sure sounds great! One syringe is $500 and most people need two.

I'm just scared of the pain.

Is Botox that painful? I've seen it done on TV and it looks soooo gross.

I haven't had the Juvederm, but I have had collagen and rystelene injections They were somewhat painful but not unbearably so - I will be doing it again so it obviously wan't that bad. The cost was $400 per syringe and he used 1 1/2 (one of collagen and 1/2 rystelene).

Where did you have the injections?

I'm considering having it injected in the naso*****l folds and in one pesky wrinkle that's just starting at the corner of the left side of my mouth.

I'm only 40, so my wrinkles are just starting. I wonder if I'll need more than one syringe. My husband will kill me.

I needed the extra half a syringe because one side was a little more stubborn than the other and I also had that same pesky little wrinkle so yours will likely be about the same.

I just noticed that! I guess I said a bad word too! Sheesh!

So, I guess I should prepare myself for spending about a grand then. Lovely!

The Juvederm is supposed to last around six months. I sure hope it does!
