Wasnt even thinking about going to Universal until I found out about the Marval section DS huge spiderman fan. Anyway have a 5 and 4 y/o so wont be going on any of the "huge" rides and not interested in HP, so would we be happy going to both parks in one day or do I need 1 day each.
Going 1st 2 weeks in May so shouldnt be super crowded. Are there any days of the week that are any less crowded?

You could do both parks in a single day...if you're only interested in Marvel and Suess Landing at IOA. With the children's attractions at the Studios, it should be a full day.

I am thinking of doing the same thing. We are not huge ride fans so Hulk and Dragons are pretty much out for us. Also it will probably be too cold for all the water rides. My DD12 wants to do Harry Potter attractions (really just FJ and the stores) in IOA and the Mummy in US. Everything else is negotiable. So we are going to buy one day two park tickets and see how much we can get done. If we need to upgrade them for one more day, we will do that.

We have gone many times (at various times of the year) and done everything we wanted in both parks in one day. (Not HP fans). In the summer we try to end the day at Curious George's water play area and Fivel's playland. We head to Suess Landing in the morning, then to Marvel then over to US.

Two parks in one day is definitely do-able. In the past, we've done three full days there and had plenty to keep us busy, but it's possible to do both (albeit, not fully) in one. We're doing that this August.

Don't miss the Spiderman ride if you make the height limit. It's arguably one of the best rides anywhere. Also, there are regular meet and greets with Spiderman - check your schedule to see when.

We are going to Disney 4/19-4/26 with our 3 children ages 6, 11, 12. Want to take them to US and IOA for one day of the trip. Going to get a one day 2 park ticket. 6 yr. old doesn't like baby rides any more but not ready for the big coasters either. What do you recommend for him? What are the must dos for all 3 that we could do in just one day? I know we need to head to HP first thing but I don't know anything about these parks otherwise. Also, I know April is busy, is there one day that would be better to go? Thanks for all your help!:goodvibes

tjls, you might want to post your question in their own thread. You might get lost in this one otherwise.

Check the Universal website for size limits and descriptions of rides. So much depends on what your 6 year old is willing to do. Some at that age are daredevils and others not so much.
