Both parks in 1 day with Express Pass?

DBF and I are wondering how much time to allow for Universal on our trip in November (middle of the month, before Thanksgiving). We really only want to go for 1 day so we can take more time at WDW, but my friends are going with us and will be mad if they feel like they missed something at the parks. I know that no one has a clue how WWoHP will be in terms of crowds. I'm wondering if we got the Express Pass and got there at park opening if we could hit the major attractions at both parks in 1 day?

DW and DD (8) and I did it last year in one day, seeing everything we wanted to in both parks. We didn't use the express passes either. And we still had some time before closing. However, that was before Pottersville opening, and crowd levels are unlikely to be as low as last year.
I would bet that if you aren't doing a weekend, with the Express Pass option and starting early you should be good.

Every time people come and visit us we do one day for both parks no express...that said we skip the jimmy neutron and shrek shows and usually poisidon. However we have a ton of time left over so you should be able to do it.

Not sure how Potter will effect it
