Hi,
Just wondering do many people hang around after Happily ever after and watch Once upon a time or do most leave, trying to get an idea of whether staying will help avoid long bus waits or watching OUAT as well will leave us with long bus waits anyway
thanks

Many leave after HEA, some stay and catch OUAT also. I hung back last night for about an hour after HEA, and still hit long bus lines.

We left right after the fireworks on May 25th and it was a zoo. Typically we take a while to leave the park, looking in stores but DD wanted to swim and it was our last night (afternoon rains and an unexpected evac from Pirates the night before had limited swim time). Anyway, if you are trying to avoid a huge bus line, I would say stay. Enjoy the show, last minute stops in the stores etc. The longer you can last past closing and fireworks the better your odds are going to be for shorter bus lines. You are still using the "hour" but I would rather take my time and exit at my pace, maybe waiting for one bus, than heading out with the pack and being cued up so far back in the bus stop that I am 4 or 5 buses back.

***We stayed at the Poly this time and I had an overhead view of the bus stop right after the fireworks. It was madness. The express monorail line was down the ramp and the resort monorail was packed. Got to the TCC and we were the only ones left in our monorail car (my sister was a little ahead of us and said the same thing about her car).

i know it must be crowded, but they are at least organized for the buses leaving magic kingdom?

Last weekend we stayed to watch Once Upon a Time, since it was new (to us).

It will be the last time we will bother to watch. It's awful and disappointing. I wasn't the only person standing nearby with the same feeling. Normally if we're elsewhere in the park, we would stop and listen to the Wishes music and watch what we could see, but not going forward. We will just go to the really popular rides that empty out/slow down at that time.

The show on the castle afterwards (Happily every after?) was much, much better. If they showed it before the fireworks, we missed it.

wait so whats first, happily every after, or once upon a time? and which one is the fireworks?

HEA is the fireworks. They can be scheduled in any order, might even be two OUATs with HEA in between.
