Hey,

I live in Sudbury, MA.

I drove back from Disney two summers ago. We went from Disney up to northern South Carolina someplace..... about 8 hours drive. And then we drove from there home the next day... about 12-13 hours. The length of the ride really depends on Washington and NY traffic....

I was doing a month long road trip, so I took the very long way down to Disney, but came straight home from Disney.

I would not recommend driving. I don't think it's worth it. You can drive straight down, or maybe do it in two days like I did, but then you are exhausted and tired by time you get there. After paying for one night hotel in each direction (or two nights if you take your time) it's almost the cost of the plane ticket.
