I see on massport.com website it has a Logan Express Parking Advisory stating that due to demand parking may be limited at all Logan Express locations.

We used the Logan Express Peabody location for two of our trips without issues. I understand this location is now Logan Express Danvers.

Is it better to try to park directly at the Boston Logan Airport than to try to park at Logan Express Danvers?

I think demand was higher a few weeks ago due to the tunnel being shut down for construction. No one wanted to try and drive and deal with the traffic (I drive in the city every day and it was awful). The construction is now on weekends only for another month or two, so it may not be as bad. Hard to really judge. I think once school starts up, there may be less of a demand. There should be parking at the airport, it will be much more expensive and if travelling soon on a weekend, check the tunnel closure schedule and allow for extra time.

I was unsure because it is March break where we live when we will be travelling. However, I know we parked at the Logan Express Peabody during March break in 2019 with no issues.

I've never had trouble parking at Logan Express (Peabody or Framingham), including during busy travel seasons. It's going to be so much cheaper, I recommend it!

So they moved the Logan Express Peabody location again? There is always plenty of parking at the Liberty Tree Mall. I don’t see this being an issue.

Its pretty common to see that warning and they are slow to take it down (if they ever take it down)

I always plan to park at Logan express, and so far I have been lucky, parking at the Airport is way too expensive, but is always the fallback plan.

Also coming back from the Airport can be a challenge with Airport express - the buses get very full and depending on your terminal it might be full by the time it gets to you. Unfortunately they don't run extra buses if its busy - you just wait and wait....

Also later in the day they are far less frequent, so if you get delayed, good luck.

Unfortunately much like the commuter rail, they want us to use it but they make it somewhat inconvenient.
If you want to get cars off the road then make it more convenient to use the bus or train.

EDIT: It looks like thee are running more frequent currently - much more frequent then back in March anyway. Be sure to check the return times from logan so you know what to expect.

There aren't a lot of K-12 schools in NH/MA with a March break, so I wouldn't worry too much about it.

You should be fine. The new parking lot in Danvers, behind Liberty Tree Mall, is much larger than the one that was at the North Shore mall.

If you have to park at the airport pre book economy parking it's 25 dollars a day. Logan Express is obviously cheaper but the economy lot is always an option

I have wondered about this option and traffic. If coming from the North down the I-95, is there a recommended route to the Economy Lot?

Traffic going south on I95 is usually not too bad until you hit Route 1. The fastest way is getting on Route 16 then immediately taking a left turn, through East Boston, which is a maze of one way streets and crazy intersections. I wouldn’t do that without GPS if you are not familiar with the area.

Alternatively, you can get on 1A in Revere and follow the airport signs. That will probably take longer though.

I came from the south of Boston. If you look up Logan economy lot it gives you the address to put in to your GPS. it was really easy to get to

Peabody and Danvers (and all the local public schools) don't have a March break; they have a week off in February (starting with President's day) and a week off in April (usually the week of Patriot's Day, which is April 21 in 2025). If the Express bus still runs from Danvers, the Liberty Tree Mall parking lot is HUGE so parking shouldn't be an issue.

ETA: I was in the area this past weekend so I can confirm that Logan Express Peabody is now at the Liberty Tree Mall in Danvers and the parking area is much, much larger!
