Boston area DISers...anyone watch Chronicle tonight?

we really enjoy the mainstreet and backroad type shows on chronicle. but one thing that really punched dh and I in the gut was the ad for oprah's show tomorrow. did anyone else find it inappropriate....I am just glad our kids were not up to see it.

I do understand that she does very sensitive shows, about revolting and disturbing topics, but I can't understand why it had to be advertised in such a lurid manner.

Maybe we are just sensitive because we have young children, I don't know. I just can't seem to shake it off.

it was for her show tomorrow, which apparently is about a 5 year old boy who was Bound! Raped! Starved! and forced to be a Sex Slave! (they had all the words emphasized like that on the screen) by some pedophile who was somehow able to adopt him. It is a disgusting, heartbreaking subject to begin with, but I just thought the ad was so lurid, unnecessarily so.
