Borrowing & Waitlist

I have home resv for OKW in Dec of this year. Needed to borrow about 20 pts from my Aug 14 UY to enjoy this long weekend. 7 month mark is coming soon and would like to try a couple waitlists BWV and BLT .
My question is about the already borrowed pts and what happens if a waitlist comes thru. Do my already borrowed pts (since I will be canx OKW) stay in 2013 UY or will they (and my remaining 2013pts) be used for the new waitlist resv ?

If you setup the waitlist to automatically cancel your original res, they will use those points.

Thank you. Having never done one I didn't realize there was such a option ! Makes perfect sense !
