Borrowing Question(s)???

I know this has most likely been asked before at least 100 times and I tried searching the previous posts to find the answer to my questions but couldn't.

We are new to DVC (purchased in Sept. 2020) with a June UY. We used our 2020 points to take a "Welcome Home" visit in February so we have zero points from 2020. Now we are looking at out BIG family trip next summer (July 2022). We can use 2021, 2022 and 50% 2023 points to book this trip? Or are we only able to use 2021 and 2022?

Also, if we do need additional points, are we able to rent from another member to add to our trip and are we limited on the number of points we can rent and add?

Since a June 2022 trip is in your 2022 UY, you can use banked 2021 points, 2022 points, and borrow up to the 50% of 2023.

To figure things out, always start with UY of the trip. Then you know that you can book it with banked points from the UY prior to the trip, points from the UY of the trip and then borrow from the UY after the trip to finish the reservation!
