Borrowing Points: Same Resort and Use Year

I know that if you have the two contracts at a Resort with the same Use Year they essentially merge together and act as one when booking. Do they still act as one when you need to borrow? Or do they have to borrow independently and then stops them from acting as one?

They don't act as one. When you book you are presented both contracts and you check which one you want to use first and second (if necessary). You can borrow from both contracts at once during the booking process if necessary (currently 50% from each).

The 50% maximum borrowing rule applies "per contract," so, for example, if you have two contracts for the same resort and use year with 50 points each and have used up all the points in one of them for a future reservation, then you can only borrow 25 points from the one that still has 50 points.

Im not sure if I’m understanding it right or if it wasn’t actually answered. So if they are they same use year and same resort and I borrow 50 from contract A and 100 from contract B can I use it as a sum of 150?

Assuming that A is a 100-point contract and B is a 200-point contract with the same UY then you can borrow 50 from A and 100 from B to make one reservation.

Yes, as long as each amount is 50% of the contract, So, you can borrow 50 from a 100 point contract and 100 from a 200 point contract.

Yes, When you go to book, both contracts will show up, check them, and then you borrow from both to continue the booking process.

No longer talking borrowing, wanting to know how it works to book with two contracts same resort/UY.

So if I have a contract with 300 and a contract with 125, if I wanted to book all 425 worth on one long reservation I just click two boxes with no moving points around or calling MS?

Yup! As long as both contracts are checked when you are booking, they function as one big contract.
