For example:

February Use Year, and it is now early May, I won't be going to WDW this year so I bank now to get the 100% of the points. Now say September - October I can get away for a trip. Is it necessary for me to borrow next years' allotment of points so I can take the trip? Or is there another way of going about doing this?

Any help, greatly appreciated.

You could borrow however many points you need for your fall trip from your next use year. You cannot "borrow back" the banked points. Both banking and borrowing are final transactions -- once points are banked or borrowed, they cannot be put back into their original use year.

The only other option would be to rent points from another member and have them transferred into your account.

if you banked all your feb. 2006 use year points you can make a ressies with those points arriving after feb. 2007. if you wanted to get away in sept. thru oct. you would have to borrow your feb. 2007 points. once you borrow your 2007 points into your 2006 use year those remain in the 2006 use year, so that means you borrow 2007 points for your trip for sept.thru oct. then you decide to cancel that trip those points remain in 2006 use year and would have to be used by jan.31, 2007 for you will lose those points.

Your 100% banking deadline would be July 31. I would wait until closer to that date to make a decision.
