borrowing and banking points

We are seriously considering buying and just have a few questions. Are there any restrictions or fees when borrowing points from the coming year, or banking points to the coming year?

There are no fees. There are some restrictions. You must bank at least 4 months prior to the end of your use year. Once points are banked or borrowed into another use year, they cannot be returned to the original, it is a final transaction. If not used, they will expire at the end of the use year banked or borrowed into.

If you fail to bank those points during the first eight months of your use year, you can't use them for a non-DVC reservation either. You'd have to use them for a DVC reservation to end before the end of the UY or lose them.

You cannot transfer banked or borrowed points to another member. Only current year points.
