Borrowed points & use year

I might have some 2014 borrowed points left over after I make a change to a 2013 cruise that I have booked on points-if I have a February use year-can I use them at WDW in January 2013? Thanks

If you borrowed points from your Feb 2014 UY (good Feb 1, 2014 to Jan 31, 2015 normally) into your Feb 2013 UY (good Feb 1, 2013 to Jan 31, 2014), they would not be good for a trip in Jan 2013 (that would fall in your Feb 2012 UY).

You really want MS to use the borrowed points first and then bank the left over Feb 2013 points into your Feb 2014 UY. You could borrow Feb 2013 UY points into a Jan 2013 trip (Feb 2012 UY).

BUT - if you already used them to book the cruise and have made a change to the cruise and now have points left over, they cannot be used for any DVC trips and would have to be used for the Disney Collection since they were already used for the DCL.

Thanks-I knew they were only available for Disney Collection-was hoping they would be available sooner-I'll just have to plan an additional trip
