Love the music and the movie. My granddaughter loved it too! I believe this
will reach people for the Lord in ways we have yet to imagine.

The music from the CD is not the soundtrack. It's two seperate albums. I enjoyed the music in the movie, but the LOVE the music inpired by the movie!

Hi all! Just wanted to drop in and see how you all were doing. Haven't posted much in the past week or so. Dropped by the Christian Music thread this morning to sing as God has renewed my spirit so this morning. Have been having a hard time with anxiety, depression and lack of sleep for a while now and yesterday I spent a lot of time in God's word studying passages about God being our strong tower, our refuge, our strength and asking Him to restore my joy, renew my spirit, my fire and my passion for His word.

Thank you for the link to the Christian music thread...I didn't know it existed I am so very thankful for our local Christian music station and sing often while driving in my vehicle. "Funny" how sometimes I can be in a not so good mood and then I start singing along and realize that my mood has totally changed by taking the time to praise God. I can't imagine not having that station (although I do have a collection of CD's now).
Just curious, but anyone want to share who their favorite groups/artists are? I personally love to listen to "Third Day".
I need to update you all on how my uncle is doing, but that'll have to wait until later. I'm heading off to help someone learn a little guitar...

We love Third Day too, They will be here in March, our anniversary is in February so I'm getting DH tickets for our annivesary. Casting Crowns is also coming He's getting those tickets for Valentines day.

There are so many groups I love, it is hard to pick a favorite. I really love Newsong, Newsboys, 4Him (sadly they are on their farwell tour), Point of Grace, Petra (they are no more), FFH, Avalon, Chris Tomlin, Natalie Grant, on and on I can go, even like listening to the Gaithers and lots of praise and worship like Brooklyn Tab and Don Moen.

Maybe Winter Jam will come close to your area. It was here last weekend. Just $10 at the door with Newsong, Newsboys, TobyMac, Crystal Myers, Zoe Girl, Hawk Nelson and the sphere of fear motorcycle stunt show. It was a great evening! Our DD will be 3 in mid-March, she loved Winter Jam, she cracks me up, she knows the entire chorus to the Breakfast song by Newsboys.

Hi! I'm a born again Christian and recently found this great thread.
I need some prayers for my sister who is a struggling single mom with a baby and a lot of financial problems. She is trying to finish a college degree and is having a difficult time with student loans. Please pray for herand pray that the Lord will show me how to help her. I do give her money, but unfortunately I live 8 hours away from her. She had to go bankrupt(long story) and just found out today that she can't get her student loan for this semester b/c of it. Her lawyer thought there wouldn't be a problem with it, but apparantly there is. Thank you for your prayers and any advice you have.

Third Day, tho, is definitely my favorite.
I think "Thief" will always be my #1 song,
but Rich Mullins' "Awesome God" runs pretty close.
I know, that's like comparing apples & oranges!

We are so blessed to have a local Contemporary Christian
station around, I listen to it more than any other,
and our car radios are set for it when the engine starts .

I'm glad to hear that your sister's student loan problem was worked out. Thank God for one less stress in her life. I had a thought while I was reading this...has she searched for scholarship and grant money for school? I'm not sure what's out there, but I've heard of people in all kinds of different situations being eligible for different "free money" for college. I do admire the fact that she is trying to finish her degree...hopefully that will make things better for herself and her baby.

I told y'all I would update you on my uncle. He seems to be doing somewhat better nowadays. He went to see the surgeon a little over a week ago and was given good news! The dr. said that the splint he put in shifted and that was why his stomache was rock hard. Thankfully, that was actually going down by the time he went there. Dr. said he really didn't expect Joe to make it at one point, but was extremely happy to see him and that he should be back to his full strength by March. Thank you all for the prayers that you've lifted for him. I know it has made a difference in his recovery.
My friend Julie is having a hard time of it right now. She had to miss a week of chemo because of being anemic (sp?). She did have it this past Thursday and has been really sick ever since. I called tonight and she wasn't even able to talk to me. Please keep her and her dh Terry and ds Bryan in prayer. They have touched many lives through ministering to children over the years. I pray for a miracle of healing for them.
One last request. My dd seems to be getting another U.T.I. This will be the 3rd in less than a year. The DR. told us the last time if she got another one fairly quickly that they would want to put a catheter (sp?) in her to see what's going on up there. I really don't want to have to do that, but if it's what they need to do to help her out, then I guess we'll have to.

I'm glad your uncle is doing better. What an awesome God we serve! I will continue to left up your requests along with A Disney Queen. I have had friends go through chemo and several became anemic. The treatment is
rough but out God is tougher. Our God is a mighty miracle worker!

One last request. My dd seems to be getting another U.T.I. This will be the 3rd in less than a year.

Thank you for all of your prayers for my dd. We had rough days and nights from Thursday night through Saturday. Saturday night when I put her to bed I reminded her to say her prayers. She said, "You first." So I prayed that God would give us a good night's sleep, that she would feel better in the morning and that He would give her a healing on her body. ...anybody want to guess what God did for her?
She slept most of the night Saturday, only waking up at 5 am (which for me is just about a full night's sleep) and then again at 6:30. She went back to sleep quickly both times. When I woke her to go to church Sunday, she went to the bathroom and then told me that she wasn't hurting anymore. Sunday went well and she slept straight through the night last night! God is so awesome!

ADisneyQueen, praise God for working out your sister’s student loan situation. Paying for college can be such a struggle, and yet it’s so important. I’m so glad to hear that everything worked out!

Deb, I’m so glad to hear how well Joe is doing. Thank the Lord the doctors were able to find out the problem and fix it. I will remember your friend Julie and her family in my prayers. Cancer is so terrible, and I know the treatments tend to be awful. May the Great Physician meet their every need and give her healing and strength. I’m happy to hear that your DD’s UTI has healed. Faith like a child is truly inspiring!
