I know how to get a background, but is there a code to get a picture going down the side (right side) as a border? And does any one know the HTML code so that you can put a color under your text that's different than the background. All I know is that the ending is < /spam > (w/o the spaces)

I want this picture as a border:

That's "span" not "spam" :)

&ltspan style="background-color: #008000">Text with a green background goes here&lt/span>

<span style="background-color: #008000">Text with a green background goes here</span>

Every time I have set up a stationary style background, the image has a long gap set into it at the right side so when it tiles, you can only see the one at the left (or right). You would need to add the gap to the image with an image editor. I can do that tomorrow if you want unless someone knows of a better way.

Thank you soooo much!! I have been going crazy looking for that code!! :D

But I don't get what you mean about the stationary style background.... you kind of lost me.

Thanks again!! :)

You need to make the image look somewhat like this:

There is a large gap that forces the characters to the right hand side of the page when it is tiled. Usualy, the image is faded out a bit too when this is done.
