Just a quickie question.

Is it possible to look round the cemetary without going on the PM ride? I've looked round the part outside the grounds of the Manor but as I don't care for Ghost Trains I've don't particularly want to go on the ride itself. Are you 'channeled' into the Manor so you can't get out.

[I got caught this way some years back - my DS persuaded me to join her in queuing for a ride at another theme park in the UK and I ended up going on the corkscrew and nearly lost my lunch :faint: :faint: :scared:

It's okay Nikki, you don't need to go through Phantom Manor to get to Boot Hill :)

I know Becky already answered your question but I just wanted to add that comparing Phantom Manor to a ghost train is like comparing Big Thunder Mountain to a... helter skelter at a fairground! :rotfl: I honestly think you should give it a go, I hate the thought of anyone missing out on such a good ride! It's not scary at all, just really, really brilliantly themed, and the ride itself moves really slowly.

Give it a go, you just might be surprised! :cloud9:

I agreed :thumbsup2 My DD4 and DS5 were initially unsure about this ride but loved it :goodvibes

Nikki, I also agree! :thumbsup2 There really isn't anything scary on PM at all. I have heard little ones crying in Pinocchio and Snow White but never in PM. It is *funny scary* with things like the door knocker that knocks itself and eyes that light up in the wallpaper. It is nothing like the ghost trains in the UK that drape things over you. I know this is :offtopic: but years ago my aunt went on a ghost train and lost her glasses when something brushed over their heads. The ride had to be closed whilst they found her specs! :rotfl2:

From what I've seen the ride does look great - I'm a great lover of horror movies and can sit through the scariest without a twinge normally :smokin: popcorn:: but I'm not keen on doing this one on my own. I'm even a bit nervous about the Snow White ride personally - daft I know - but my sister and I had a really scarey experience when we were little riding a similar type of ride and it's put us both off big time. I hate the idea of things leaping out as you go by.

Like I say, if I were going with someone it probably wouldn't bother me so much
