I won't sit in a booth. I am completely grossed out by the thought of sitting in a booth and cannot do it... every once in awhile, if I am out with someone new I will suck it up and do it but it takes a lot of willpower. Otherwise, you won't catch me in one.

Table, but only because we're usually with one or more of our sons and they are 6'2 or larger and a table is just more comfy. :)

This is funny,I dont mind booths, but grossed out by sitting by the wall:confused3... I refuse to sit by the wall in a booth.. I make my kids sit there;)

Goodness, some of you folks are describing thought processes that might be in need of some medication or something.;)

I go with table, because, well, I'm a big guy and even though I can fit in one I am usually left with the situation of trying to be comfortable without the ability to breath or lean forward. Even if that little issue didn't exist, I hate having to get up constantly to let people in or out or sliding across the seat that has had food and who knows what all over it.

No thanks...nothing about a booth is appealing to me so to all you folks that have to have them...thanks for leaving me an open table.:woohoo:

I don't care whether it is a booth or table. You forgot "other" because their always has to be an "other". It is a DISrule.:lmao:

I said booth because it is easier for my 3 yr old who is not in a high chair obviously, but the regular chairs are too big.

I prefer a booth if given the option, but will sit wherever. Booths tend to be more comfortable (padded) and quiet.

Where is the option for you get what you get and you don't get upset. I never understand when people cause a stink at a restaurant because they want a booth or a table or not near the kitchen or not near a ac vent, etc, etc. Can you tell I worked in restaurants for way too long ;) There is usually a very good reason you are put where you are put. So take it, sit down, eat and be merry!

So my vote...whatever is available.

My knees don't like to slide, I don't like to make others move when I want to get out, booth seats are often sunken from others sitting there and the edge is hard so that it cuts off my circulation, all booths are not created equal so people move the table towards them or away from them or as is the case in a permanently fixed table can not sit at that table in the booth comfortably, the people behind me always have a child standing and trapped in the booth and that child rocks the booth while I'm sitting in it. The older people sitting with me can not get in and out of a booth seat easily. My husband is 6'5" and does not have enough leg room in a booth so he's always got his feet pulled up uncomfortably or tangled with someone else in a booth. I want a table please.
OK?

DW and I are bar/counter people and 'demand' that you add this option so that we are not unfairly omitted or forced to vote for the 'lesser of two evils". ;)

Booth. However, we have seen some booths that are fairly tight to be in (DH is still a bit on the Pooh size end, but has been losing weight). If that's the case, then we pick a table.

Booth for sure! I think they're more intimate for converstation, I feel I have to talk so quietly when sitting at a table in the middle of a restaurant. And yes, I understand requests are a pain for the server, but seriously, I'm paying for my meal and service and if I'm freezing my behind off because I'm under the a/c vent, don't get an attitude with me if I ask to move!

An older relative of DH's who died about 10 years ago was in the CIA (didn't know this until after he died), but DH says so many things make sense now, one of which was that he NEVER sat anywhere with his back to the door.

Used to be booth, then we became parents. I find tables easier to manage with the high chair. It's easier to get in and out of a table with chairs than to try and do it with the high chair there.

Also I prefer square tables to rectangular tables. Take one chair out and we use three sides of the table. Also that means both DH and I are sitting "next" to her.

Funny the things you think about once you have a child LOL

I prefer a booth but most of the time when we go out we have to get a table. My dh, stepdad and a good friend all have what we affectionately call "booth belly". Their bellies just don't fit in a booth.

Table, always. Most booths kill my back - too steep, no way to stretch or turn. A table with a chair gives options for comfort. Some booths are fine, but the taller the booth, the worse on the back.

Booth. And if we're at Friday's, we prefer a booth with a TV.

What can I say. We're addicted. :rotfl2: At least we're not texting/ tweeting!

My Friday's doesn't have tv. I have to visit yours. :rotfl: And, my vote was booth.
