Inspired by a Seinfeld episode.

Table. My husband always picks booth. And he can't have his back to the front door.

Where is the option for you get what you get and you don't get upset. I never understand when people cause a stink at a restaurant because they want a booth or a table or not near the kitchen or not near a ac vent, etc, etc. Can you tell I worked in restaurants for way too long ;) There is usually a very good reason you are put where you are put. So take it, sit down, eat and be merry!

So my vote...whatever is available.

How about it is a poll about what you Like - not necessarily demand.

I'll sit anywhere, but I do like booths.

I do like booths if they are available.

If given a choice, table and my husband can't sit with his back to the door either.

Booth and I'm willing to wait an extra 10 minutes or so to wait for one to open up.

I don't care and don't get it. Why do people always want booths?

Are your husbands Italian? My grandpa always told me this is because you need to see who is coming in to make sure they weren't going to do anything to you. ;)

Personally, I like a booth and I like sit on the inside near the wall, but I sit where they put me in a restaurant.

Booth. And if we're at Friday's, we prefer a booth with a TV.

What can I say. We're addicted. :rotfl2: At least we're not texting/ tweeting!

Booth.

They're generally a little more intimate and almost always more out of the traffic flow than tables. I also usually find booth seats more comfortable than individual chairs.

(And no, I am not saying that these things are the case in every restaurant. :p )

I agree

The only reason you are put where you are put is which waitress is next to be seated. That's not my problem. I'm paying & I'll decide where I'll sit.

I need an "It depends" choice. If Christian is with us we need a booth--we put him on the inside and one of us sits on the outside. It's the best way to keep him in his seat. If we're dining without Christian I prefer a table.
