So, yes, I'm planing a new trip. And I got a very nice price (I do think so) for SL. It's 870 for 1 adult, 2 kids 6 nights in the end of March.
On the other hand there's plenty of time left and I do think there will be another offer. Would it be a better one?
Is it worth to wait for April offer? We're looking end of March - beginning of April.

btw, when's Easter this year?

Easter's early this year, it's the last weekend in March, right when you're planning on going from the looks of it!

bad idea. Not going. And not going around March 17 either.
When's week off the school - before or after Easter?

so.... to leave on thursday is a good idea....

they break up on the thursday - 29th the day before good friday and go back on the 15th April :)

Lots of schools have different holidays for Easter.

DD usually has the week before Easter and the week after (so the week with Good Friday in and the week with Easter Monday in)

Other places only have the bank holidays and have a Spring holiday later in April when Easter falls early

your best bet is to go onto your local councils website and check there - on ours they have dates up to august 2014 !!

Easter 2013 they break up on the day before good friday but in 2014 they break up on the 7th April down here and then go back on the 22nd which is the day after easter monday ??

whats likely to be more important (from the viewpoint of busy-ness in the parks at DLP) is when the French and Spanish schools are on holiday. If thats the same time as a lot of UK schools, its going to be a busy old time at DLP!

the price gets tempting. As we're on budget this time, I checket SL for standart room and the price I get is 687Eur for 6 nights. And 870 Eur for Monatana room. I admit, I'm ready to book. But the price difference is big. Almost 200Eur which covers our transportation from and to airport.
What would you do? If I book that room not in the main building will there be trouble getting for breakfast or to the pool? Or saving this amount is worth?

I would take the saving of €200!
Any reason why you don't want to go the 17th? We are going then, just wondering if there is any particular negative we should be aware off!

I've been there twice that day and before 17th the weather was just great and 17th was the first day of bad weather. Bad weather experience keeps me off. And crowds...
