So, in July I booked my vacation package through Disney's website. When I made the original booking, I had my current address listed for billing, however I moved at the beginning of August and I had made sure to update my address so that it could be sent.
My package was supposed to arrive approx 21 days however when it didn't come, I started to get a little anxious because last time in June when I had ordered my package, it came right away with 0 problems.
I called a Disney travel rep because I just wanted to make sure that my package was being sent to my NEW updated address. Good thing I called, it had been sent to my old address. The rep was really great and tried to figure things out but in the end she said that since I didn't have any air or ground transportation included in my package, the easiest thing to do was for UPS to send it back to DL and then send it to my hotel. Needless to say, I was bummed
because lets face it - opening the package is half the excitement and it just makes you feel that much closer to your vacation.
Anyways, I thanked the rep and left it at that. About five minutes later I get a call back from a new rep saying that the package was NOT being sent back to DL but was going to get re-shipped to my new house.
That made me happy and seemed fine and dandy but it all seems like somewhat of a big confusion.
Now I'm wondering and hoping that my package does not get lost and that everything has been alllll sorted out!!!
I'm sure that many of you have made some sort of phone or online reservation for many different things so I'm wondering:
Have any of you ever had any sort of complications and if so - how were they fixed?
