Booking with transferred points. Help needed

If I have points transferred to my membership from another member, am I able to book online with them or do I have to call MS to make a reservation? The wording on the DVC website regarding transfer points confuses me a bit so just wondering if anyone has experience with this. Thank you!

I’ve been able to use transferred points to book online at the 7 month window. I think you may have to call MS to book using those points at the 11 month window.

Hoping you DVC veterans out there can answer for me !

If I have tansfer points with the same use year and same home resort, am I able to book one continuous stay with those points or does the system break it up into two different reservations?

In other words, if I made a 3 day reservation at 11 months out at my home resort that used up all the points in my original contract, would I need to wait an additional 3 days before being able to book additional days with the transferred points?

Once points are transferred into your account, you can make one singled reservation.

You will still need to call though to use them as they don’t work well during home resort priority period.

If you are trying for a hard to get room, book what you can online with your own points and then call at 9:00 am to use the transferred points to finish it up.
