Booking with points and cash

For a two night consecutive stay, if I can book the first night with points and the second with cash, will I be required to move after the first night or can I stay in the same room for both, provided they are the same type (1 bedroom, savannah view at AKL)?

You should tag the reservations as "continuing", you may need to check out and in again at the front desk. Make sure to discuss with the front desk when you first check in.

You should be OK but you'll likely have to check in again. If you reserve for cash through MS, you likely can link them but otherwise it's just a request that can't be guaranteed. I'd put the request on both reservation and repeat it on check in not doing online checkin.
