Booking with placeholder

Just booked a 7 day cruise for Feb 2022 (cat 11B) using a placeholder purchased Jan 2020. The booking does have the 10% savings on the cruise price but did not have the $250 applied. Should’t the price paid for the placeholder, $250, be applied too?

The $250 should have been deducted from the deposit owed. It is not actually subtracted from the fare, but counts as part of the payment you have made.

Thanks. I just emailed DCL to review the reservation. It shows $0.00 payments when it should have $250.
