Maybe i was missing something, but when i was on Disney's offical site, and was looking at the rooms and getting ready to book some, i noticed you get alot more than just the rooms, like packages. and places like yahoo , you get just the rooms.

Is there anyway on disney where you can just book the rooms without the packages? i'd rather book through disney than another travel site but it dosn't really matter

I booked rooms only by calling the WDW reservation number. I'd played around with the website, but found it easier to call WDW direct, use my AAA discount & book room only. I'll buy tickets directly from AAA prior to vacation. I think there's a way to mark it for room only & adjust it so that the tickets aren't included on the website, but I can't remember exactly how. Good luck!!

The previous poster is correct. There is a "Room Only" box you can check before making a reservation to get just the room price. You can add tickets, Magical Express, etc after the fact if you change your mind. I actually had my Room Only reservation on my computer screen on Wednesday, called WDW reservations directly to see if I could get a better deal. She ended up getting me the same rate, but she couldn't make the reservation. Her computer kept locking up. So I used the info I already had online and was able to book it there.

I usually book using Expedia because they seem to have a much better selection of resorts/room types for any given day.
