I'm wondering on how the process is when booking a room at a Disney hotel at Disneyland works if you have an annual pass. We're going to WDW about 2 weeks before we go to DL and are going to upgrade to the Premier Annual Passport so that we can go to both theme parks. Does Disneyland offer AP discounts like WDW does? If so, when are they usually released? Our dates are May 19-24 for DL. Do we have to have the AP at the time of booking or do we just show it when we check in? We usually always stay with family that live in the area, but we decided to try onsite this time. Thanks in advance for the help!

When booking a hotel you don't need your annual pass to get the discount. You do need to show it at the front desk before you Check out. disneyland does sometimes offer AP discounts, usually a few months ahead of time. However, your dates are right when the 60th anniversary festivities begin (may 22) , so i wouldn't count on any discounts. With all the new happenings they will not have a hard time filling the resorts.

Ditto what planningjollyholiday just said. I'd make my reservations quick, if I were you. It's going to be a very busy time with the kick off of the 60th anniversary during your dates! Have a great trip! :)
