Booking "Wishes" specialty cruise questions

We are traveling to WDW in mid-May and are interested in booking a MK fireworks cruise. I have read the process about booking Illuminations cruises on the sticky at the top of the Theme Parks Strategies board and wonder if the same process should be used in booking the Wishes cruises? Are the numbers you push the same? Do you ask for a MK fireworks cruise, a Wishes cruise, or a specific time as is suggested by the Illuminations cruise? Since Illuminations is held at 9 pm each night, I would figure that the departure times would be the same. The MK fireworks, however, occur at different times during the year. Would that affect the booking time? Do you request a specific resort to be picked up from or do they do that for you? Finally, is this something I need to practice on my cell phone before the 90 day window opens? Any help with this would be appreciated.

Yes, you book it the same way you would an Illuminations cruise. Just tell them you want a Wishes specialty cruise. You can tell them which resort you want picked up at. They pick you up 45 minutes before wishes starts. We were picked up at the Contemporary Resort last year and took a tour of the lake before stopping to watch Wishes. It was a nice relaxing cruise.
