Booking Window Question

If I have 3 nights at a resort booked during the home resort window, say 9/1-9/4, on which day will I be able to call MS to modify the booking (adding additional nights with non- home resort points)?

Is it 2/1, 7 months before the first day of that booking. Or 2/4?

If you're adding additional nights, so for 9/5+, it would be 2/5.

Unless your checkout day currently is 9/4, then you can book on 2/4.

Thanks! I was wondering if that was why there are all those small point contracts floating around. Used by people to book a day or two in a studio to get a head start on others trying to book at 7 months, then adding additional nights with cheaper points. Obviously not then.

Nope. They cannot be used to work around 11/7 priority.
