Booking WDW January 2007

Hey all-
I am looking to book in January 2007 for the marathon weekend.
I cannot find any rates yet...Is it too early?
Do they still do that "best rate" thing?
I posted this on the resorts board to no avail.

I'm going in Jan 2007 also. I guess there's no way to know until more time passes. I can't wait!

You can go ahead and book. You will be charged current price for 2006 but it will be changed when the 2007 rates come out. Do you mean the best rate online program for AP holders???? They did away with that and went back to codes if that is what you are referring to.

The 2007 room-only rates, for value and moderate resorts, were loaded into the system in the last few days. Presumably the deluxe resort rates will be next, and then they'll start loading the package rates into the system. They're running a couple of weeks ahead of scheduled, as compared to least year.

I too am waiting anxiously for 2007 rates to be released. January is going to be so wonderful!

We are going in January too! We booked room only, and will pick a package when the rates come out.

Count me in as part of the January DIS'ers! This past January I arrived on January 27th and we booked our AP 'Best Rate' on August 6th, as soon as it was available. Yes, I'm obsessed and keep track of these things !!! I think they have done away with the Best Rate, but at least that gives you a general time frame. I'll be watching for January rates too!

I booked for January several months ago.
Booked at 2006 rates, subject to change.
2007 rates are out now ....they came out a week or so ago and I already have my modified ressies in hand (now waiting for the release of AAA rates ).
