Can I book a tour 60 days from our arrival for a day later in our trip? Or is it 60 days from the desired date of tour? I’ve also read there may be a waitlist, how has availability been lately? Thank you!

60 days from date of tour.
That’s what I thought. My sister just got off with a Disney chat representative and they told her 60 days from arrival and gave her the phone number. Did this change recently or did she get bad info from Disney CM?

I just called yesterday to book. I was too early. CM told me it's 60 days from the day of the tour. I have to call back tomorrow.

It’s 60 days before tour date. You’re able to book 60+ if doing multiple consecutive tour days though. We are going Memorial weekend, and Sat got waitlisted even though I called at 8am cst. They called back a couple hours later saying there was an opening, and they booked my consecutive days too so we wouldn’t have to worry about availability.

On Disney’s website it has the majority of the tours listed as no availability?
Yes many of the tours aren't available however the private tours are still running.

OP we didn't have a problem getting our desired date but that was on 1/31

We booked a couple weeks ago for a Sunday in June and didn’t have any problems. It’s 60 days from the date. First time doing a VIP and we are so excited!!

I know the price range but is anyone willing to share what hourly rates they were quoted for mid June?

425/hour for a Monday in May. I had heard that Mondays and Tuesdays were the lowest rate. I didn't pick Monday because of that, but it did hold true.

we were considering splurging on the “ultimate day of thrills” tour if fast passes don’t return by our November trip. Unfortunately I’m not sure the private tours would be in range of what we are willing to spend on that.

Just booked on Thursday for June 14th -- 60 days out. I was on hold for 20 minutes. It was $550/hr. I was told unless you are booking for 2 days or more in a row that you have to call each day. I wish I could multiple consecutive days but at $3850 minimum per day that is not happening.
