We need two rooms - one for my parents and one for us. Both DH and myself have APs, along with our kids. What should I do?
When we book our rooms have my name listed in my parents' room?
If it is in my parents' name and charged on their card, but I'm listed on their ressie as a guest can we get the AP price?

Or will this mess things up since it will then be three adults in one room? They charge more for that? Maybe I need to rearrange who is listed in what room?

Thanks!

You can only apply an AP discount to one room only per passholder. So yes, you should list yourself on one room and your husband one the other. Just switch yourself with your Mom on the room ressie for price purposes if you need to.

I had to do this for one of our upcoming trips too. I had to be on my Mom's room and my DH on the other with our kids to be able to get the discount. They will charge more for more than 2 adults in one room.

Are you all going to be on the same package? Will your parents need tickets? If so, I believe everyone has to be on the same package per room. It all depends on what you are trying to book or whatever discount you may need.

Sometimes it can be really confusing:confused: ....kinda like I sound right now!!!:lmao:

Anyway, I hope I didn't confuse you too much.:upsidedow

Thanks. Actually, we are just trying to add two nights onto a DVC trip. My parents will buy their tickets separately, so no package.

OK, so if my Mom puts her room on her CC, can we still get the AP rate if I'm listed in her room?

I think you just have to be the one who books the room and be on the room list, anyone can pay for it.:)
