Booking two rooms...what if we get a code and inlaws dont?

We are going to WDW in the winter. I am praying for a pin code for these months or atleast another deal to be offered. If..and if I receive a pin and my inlaws dont can we still apply it to our rooms? Just wondering if we book with my inlaws name and not ours if they would still honor a pin I received?

You would be good to go if you got one. A pin can be applied for up to 3 rooms.

I just talked to a CM this morning about this. You can book up to 3 rooms with one code, but you do have to be at the same resort.
