Hi all,

First time poster here so apologies if its already been asked...

We are planning on coming to Anaheim in early December for our honeymoon so are super excited. When looking to book the park-hopper tickets through Disney you, understandably, need to put an entry park in now.

Is anyone able to tell me if this can be changed at a later date? For example if I select DCA for Day 1, can I change to Disneyland closer to the time assuming capacity isn't gone?

I also know that getting onto ROTR is a real challenge, can anyone recommend the best thread to follow as a guide to help us get on it? Its the only ride we weren't able to hit last time we were in as it wasn't open.

Thanks in advance for your help!

Hello,

We were there in May and although my finger was on the button to book at 7AM, we missed out on ROTR. I couldn't believe how fast it went. I think there was a second of a pause on my behalf, because I didn't understand how fast it would go. Everyone around me in line was cheering, I felt like the only one that didn't get a slot. Haha. I tried again at noon and got in. I think people are more distracted mid-day, so it may be easier at that time? I would set an alarm to make sure you are ready and don't pause at all. I hesitated to read over everything before pushing the button and I missed out in a flash. Just go for it and read over the details later. Haha.

You can change with no problems, as long as there’s availability… but just know that it’s not as simple as just switching starting parks, you actually have to cancel the reservation and rebook it. It’s not a huge deal, I had to do it myself… I just wish they would just make it easier with a box to check/uncheck or something, but it is what it is...

@StevenE442 check out the Planning and Information thread that I created below. Has detailed instructions on how to get a Boarding Group for Rise of the Resistance and Webslingers. Also has a lot of info on hotels and tickets. As for reservations, that's a topic I haven't added yet but I will on my next update, as I'm constantly adding and updating that thread.

For reservations, you can change them as long as there are availability. Although honestly, I'd only do one starting day at DCA (to get to RSR at rope drop) and to get to GRR before 10am when lines get longer, every other day you'd be better off starting off at Disneyland (Do one rope drop at Fantasyland for Peter Pan, one at Tomorrowland for Space Mountain and one at Adventureland for Indiana Jones).
