Booking thru Orbitz??

I found our flights...good times..good prices...better than the airlines site...through Orbitz.
I'm afraid to purchase though if there are any problems.

Anyone have any experience with this???

Those sites generally do not have better prices than the airline; be sure you've gone all the way to the end (just before you pay) of the process to make sure that the price is the same AND that the flight is actually available. They don't always update their sites in a timely fashion (that's their reason) so they have flights shown that don't actually exist at that price.

and yep, if there are problems you end up needing the site to take care of it as they are your TA.

I've booked hotels through orbitz, car rental through hotwire, tons of hotels through hotels.com, but I don't see booking a flight through a site like that in the future.

We purchased airline tickets from them last spring. Boston to Rome via Heathrow with 2 major carriers. One of our connecting flights was cancelled and we had to cancel the whole flight. It was a little bit of a hassle on the phone with them, but I did get my money back in a timely manner. I would book flights with them again if the price was really good, especially if it was a less complicated trip.
