Booking through the U.S. site

Hi everyone! My in-laws are coming to visit us here in Chicago in March and we are all going together to Disneyworld for a 5-day stay. I want to book two separate reservations, one for each family. Can I do theirs on the US site? Then have them log on and pay for it? Or do they have to book through the UK site?

Yes you can book them on the US site, I've done it myself in the past. However, they may want to check that they won't get a better deal on the UK site first. Also, it may have changed now but when I booked through the US website in 2010 it wasn't possible to pay my balance online and so I had to call up to do that.

they can use both sites.

UK sites have offers for tickets (14 days ultimate = hopper+WP for the price of a 7 day MWY ticket) but for a 5 day stay it won't make any difference.

There are pros and cons though

UK site will enable them to pay in their own currency (£) and avoid fluctuating exhange rates. They will need to pay a £50 per person deposit and the balance is due 45 days prior to departure

US site will be processed in US dollars. They might get bank fees and be subject to fluctuating exchange rates

but those are both Disney. And they can use either of them (whichever gets them the best deal)

if you book a room-only reservation on the US site, you only have to pay a deposit (one night's rate) and the rest only has to be paid on arrival.
