Has any Canadian here had experience using costcotravel.com (not .ca) to book a Disney or Universal hotel + parks tickets package? I've read that to book on .com for vacation packages (in my case, hotel + park tickets) you need to live in the US.

Reason why for me is that I prefer paying in USD which isn't an option on the .ca site. Costco is also cheaper for the same package than booking directly with Universal.

Going through the checkout for a Universal Orlando package (without flight), it asks for each travellers state of residency with no option to select a province. The payment page however, allows you to select Canada for billing country, so it looks like I should be able to book.

Would love to hear if anyone here has had success with a booking on .com Anor any issues with the hotel or park.

What about trying the hotel address..and just bill to you
It seems like it will accept a Canadian billing address. The concern I have is that it asks for everyone's name and the state of residence. If I choose a random state, wondering if I would have issues. The Canadian version of the same page doesn't ask for province of residence.

I would suspect that it is because they are not a registered travel agent/seller in Canada. There are likely restrictions on doing business with Canadians. In Ontario at least they have to be licensed by TICO.

Canadians can book on the US site if they're dual citizens or dual residents.
